Pucker Up! The Face Shop Lip Care Cream Review

Okay folks, this is the last of my haul from The Face Shop (Cambodia edition!). Somehow, someway I finally used up all, and I mean every last bit of my Maybelline Baby Lips that I got for free a year ago. It had been sitting in my handbag permanently and was always my go to Lip Balm however when it finally ran out I was devastated and also excited to search for a replacement...unfortunately I was in Cambodia, land of the no-makeup/skincare/etc. The Face Shop was a godsend when I discovered that they had 3 different lip balms on the market however I was very much in need of one that was deeply moisturising without any tinting (I have plenty of those already!).

This is what I bought:  Lovely Me:Ex Lip Care Cream in the Flavour 01 Vitamin

The packaging is simple: Orange squeezy tube that's easy to throw in a handbag with a handy screw on lid so no spillage into said bag! I took a picture of the back of the packaging in case any of you out there can read tiny Korean printing!

The applicator is easy to use, can put directly onto the lips without having to use a dirty finger (forever the germophobe!) and white so it's easy to clean off any excess product.

The smell is vaguely apricot but quite mildly scented which I find nice for an everyday lip balm.

The appearance is inconspicuous, it feels lovely on but isn't high shine/glossy and completely clear, no tint here!

The effect is fantastic! It's a great moisturising lip balm that lasts a long time (depending on whether you're eating/drinking/brushing teeth) which I find great as a on the go lip balm for when you feel like they're drying out or for over the top of a dry lipstick or even as an overnight lip treatment.

The only pitfall is that while it may look inconspicuous, you can definitely feel the product on and it enrages me that I always seem to apply lip balm right before I need to drink water and it always leaves product on the glass/bottle I'm drinking from, this isn't unique to this product, just a pet peeve with lip balms and honestly the only negative I can think of with the product (didn't want to sound too positive!)

Overall highly recommended, but I think I might also re-purchase a BabyLips when i'm next at Priceline, that baby lasted me literally forever!
